Accept it? You can’t choose to say if your army accepts or not. If Germany invaded USA, the USA can’t be like “We don’t accept of this!” For now you have no possession over those servers because it was your decision not to attend.
I don’t believe there is a rule that says the opposing army has to accept a battle. 😆
